The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway, making it easily accessible for solo travelers like myself. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, with the host being a great source of information and a fabulous cook. The breakfast served was delicious, and I also enjoyed the beautiful views of the grounds. The hotel also had great facilities such as a day spa for ultimate relaxation.
The only downside was that there was an additional cost for access to the day spa, which was not clearly stated in the advertising.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the wonderful hospitality and comfort provided by the hotel. The cozy atmosphere and unwavering assistance offered by the staff made me feel valued and welcomed. The facilities' beauty was impeccable, including the well-maintained historic property's surroundings and the exceptional location in a serene countryside area. It was delightful to have access to complimentary breakfast and an assortment of amenities that provided convenience during my stay. All in all, my experience with the hotel was memorable and worthwhile.
One minor issue I encountered was an additional cost for access to a spa, which was not explicitly stated in the advertisement. Although it didn't affect me, it would be helpful for future guests to be aware of the charge beforehand.

We were absolutely blown away by the stunning period house and its old world charm. The beautifully decorated rooms, complete with antiques and four poster beds, made us feel like we had stepped back in time. The hostess, Kim, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and we can't wait to try the onsite Spa on our next visit. Despite the drought conditions, the property was still beautiful and the furry friends added to the charm. our stay at Blair Athol was like a little piece of heaven, and we can't wait to return.
